Navigation system address: corner of Brusselselaan and Ypersestraat. If you manage to park against the woods before the junction with Ypersestraat, parking is free. If you have to park beyond it, you have to pay for parking, and it does get checked regularly.
The entire domain (except the playground, of course).
What is so special about it?
Small woodland domain on reconstrucred little hills, criss-crossed by small, windy paths.
It does not get too busy, and I actually went on a sunny Saturday.
It does not seem to get frequented by aggressive dogs (and their intimidating owners), according to the locals.
It is not allowed at all for bicycles!
What to look out for
Not really that big that you can forget that you are in the middle of a busy city. The sound of traffic from the adjacent Badhuisweg does a great job at reminding you.
